KMIS-Net is governed by volunteer officers, a Board of Directors and an Advisory Board made up of regional presidents and chapter representatives. A president is elected for two year term. The Advisory Board also elects members of the Board of Directors for three years term. KMIS-Net Standing Committees are key groups of officers and members. Committee chairs are elected by the Board of Directors for two year terms. All committee terms run from Jan 1 until Dec 31. From time to time the Board of Directors creates special purposes committees.
